The 2024 MiniTec will be held February 5th & 6th, (Mon & Tue) in the Anaheim Convention Center concurrent with the 2024 MD&M West/IME Expo & Conference.
Papers related to the following will be taken into strong consideration:
Advanced polymer materials for enabling new device and packaging technologies, including smart, self-healing, bioinspired, and antimicrobial medical plastics
Innovations in polymer processing and device manufacturing
Testing and validation of medical plastics in the context of evolving standards and regulations (e.g., ISO 10993 updates, MDR, PFAS regulations)

Development of hybrid devices to reduce the amount of single use plastic waste and end-of-life responsibilities of OEMs
Materials & technologies for use in the rapidly emerging role of telehealth and telemedicine in healthcare
Digital, connectivity, and AI trends in healthcare
Plastics used in the manufacture of biopharmaceuticals
Materials & technologies critical for next generation medicines & therapeutic delivery systems
Polymers used for the controlled release of Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients
Other emerging materials & technologies in healthcare and medical device
Next generation medical devices & therapeutic delivery systems (early and disruptive innovations — new products coming to market)
